I was born in Ashcroft and was raised in the Clinton area. My husband and I moved back to Clinton in 2015, after being away for over 23 years. I had only been living in Clinton for barely a year when I made a life changing decision to move to Vernon and attend the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy. I said goodbye to my husband, and my dog, and went off to Vernon to become a massage therapist. I had worked as a registered nurse in the field of mental health and addictions for over a decade and needed a change, Massage therapy seemed like an ideal way to combine my passion for health care and desire to reduce pain, facilitate healing and restore function. I graduated in 2018 and I became a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) in late 2019. Unfortunately, 2020 was a very tough year for me and, my family, and I had to step away from massaging for a few months. At this time, I am so excited to be able to offer my services to the community, once again. I believe that 2021 is going to be a great year and I am very excited, and look forward to building my practice and meeting new clients!
